The 图书馆行政助理 provides information assistance to all library patrons and assists in general library operations.

The 图书馆行政助理 shall be responsible for performing the following functions and activities:

• Performing first point of contact duties in greeting faculty, staff, 学生及市民;
• Providing directory and informational assistance to library patrons;
• Demonstrating professional work habits and appearances, including maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere;
• 维护设备, 包括复印机, printers, 和扫描仪, ensuring toner and paper is replaced and supplies are always proactively stocked;
• Providing instruction on the use of all library equipment and assistive technology, written, 电子, 和面对面;

• Creating fliers and promote activities, events, and workshops;

• Recording patron statistics hourly and reporting notable trends in usage to director;
• Checking shelves to ensure books are neat and in proper order;

• Preparing and distributing overdue notices and library bills and forwarding due amounts to the business office;

• Checking all library supplies weekly and ensuring all supplies are ordered in a proactive manner;

• Assisting with the setup, cleanup, and coordination of all library events as needed;
• Co-managing all aspects of work-study and student interns in coordination with the director and assistant director including training, agreements, 监察分配时数, 批准时间, 纠正措施表格和咨询, and working with 金融援助 office to obtain adequate work-study student coverage;
